Ceremony honors Catholic martyrs

A commemorative ceremony to honor Vietnam's Peter Doan Cong Qui and Emmanuel Le Van Phung, two of the 117 sainted Catholic martyrs from Vietnam, was held July 31 on Gieng island in Long Xuyen diocese of southern Vietnam, concelebrated by 60 priests, with the participation of hundreds of ceremonies and 3,000 laity.
